All data collected by n1gang is used for legitimate and transparent purposes. The following are the primary purposes for which your personal data is used:

• Account management — creating, verifying, and maintaining your member account on the n1gang platform.
• Transaction processing — processing deposits, withdrawals, and all financial transactions accurately and securely.
• Identity verification (KYC) — verifying that each member is a genuine individual matching their registered identity, in compliance with anti-money laundering requirements.

While we apply the best available security measures, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You also play an important role by keeping your account password confidential and not sharing it with anyone.

6. Data Retention Period

N1gang retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, or as required by Malaysian law.

• Active account data — retained for the duration your account is active and for 7 years after account closure, to meet financial record-keeping and legal requirements.
• Transaction records — retained for a minimum of 7 years from the transaction date, in line with Malaysia's financial legal requirements.
• Customer support log — retained for 3 years from the date of last interaction.
• Technical data and system logs — retained for 12 months for security and technical troubleshooting purposes.
• Marketing data — retained until you withdraw your consent or request deletion.

Once the retention period expires, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised in a way that it can no longer be linked to you as an individual.
